This was a record-breaking year for the 5th annual Punta Gorda Pub Crawl! The event broke the record for number of crawlers, with 400 people registering, as well as for the number of crawlers who actually made it to the end of the day, with more than 225 left standing at the official after party! Thanks to the Pub Crawl, the Icehouse Pub broke its single day sales record and the Celtic Ray saw its second largest day of sales (behind St. Patrick’s Day). And most importantly, the Pub Crawl broke its record for food donations for the Harry Chapin Food Bank by 795 lbs., collecting 4,435 lbs. of food in just three hours. Crawl organizers also donated $1,800 to Harry Chapin, $1,250 to the local Salvation Army and $500 to the Homeless Coalition!
