Jimmy Dean is the former publisher of SARASOTA and GULFSHORE LIFE Magazines and has lived in and helped chronicle this area of the Gulf coast for more than 30 years. Born and raised in North Carolina, he began coming to Florida regularly as a child, eventually relocating here at age 27 following “one hell of a good run” in broadcasting. He and his wife, Paige, have four adorable and energetic children. When an attempt at retirement failed (Paige couldn't handle FIVE children around the house), Jimmy purchased HARBOR STYLE in partnership with the SUN newspapers in 2007. He is said to say he’s "a great boss.”

Beverly Back is originally from coastal North Carolina and has lived in Charlotte County since 1999. She previously worked as a marketing consultant for DEX One and has a keen knowledge of the local business atmosphere. She is excited to put her experience to work for community business owners. Beverly adores her two children, Carson and Lauren, and boating around the gorgeous blue-green waters of Boca Grande. She tries very hard to convince her Punta Gorda friends that coming “across the bridge” is not the end of the world! There’s a whole other world over that bridge, people!

Maleia Howland joined HARBOR STYLE after completing her studies at Charlotte Technical Center. This came after raising two kids, five grandkids, multiple cats and dogs and one husband. She is a natural at inventing systems and watching details, running The Shoppe at HARBOR STYLE, handling customers, dealing with subscribers, keeping us on-track and staying after Jimmy, which is probably her hardest job of all.

Liz Green is a graduate of Rollins College with a degree in English. Her love of words, storytelling and people eventually led her to HARBOR STYLE after nine years in Orlando. Well, that and the fact that her husband-to-be lived here. Over the years, Liz has fallen in love with Charlotte County and wants everyone to know how truly special our little piece of paradise is. She is an active member of the Charlotte County Young Professionals and serves on the board of the Fred Lang Foundation. Her hobbies include reading and explaining the proper use of "it's" and "its" to her co-workers.

Christopher Frame (Christopher, not Chris) attended The Brooks School of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA and Full Sail University in Orlando. His graphic design, photography and creative portraiture work have received critical acclaim regionally, nationally AND internationally.
