Hometown: Aurora, Colorado
Describe yourself in three words: Goofy, loyal and ambitious
Favorite movie: Shawshank Redemption
Favorite song: “Another One Bites the Dust” by Queen
Favorite book: Live First, Work Second by Rebecca Ryan
Favorite local hangout: Anywhere in downtown Punta Gorda
If money were not an issue, what would you be doing right
now? Taking two months to backpack the Colorado Trail from
beginning to end
If you were an animal, what animal would you be and why? A monkey because I enjoy having fun, I’m cute and I’m always
trying to climb the highest tree.
Who are your heroes and why? I have no one person whom I
look to for inspiration. I’m my own person. A hero, in my opinion,
is anyone who can overcome any obstacle in their lives no matter
how big or small.
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? In the future
What do you notice first about someone of the opposite sex? The sparkle in their eyes
What is your idea of a perfect date? The simple dates are
always the best, like making dinner at home together, going to
an arcade or going to a theme park to ride roller coasters. And I
always throw in a dose of romance.
What do you look for in a partner? Someone with integrity,
intelligence and a sense of humor who is open minded with
traditional values and who understands my dedication to my
daughter. I want a best friend I can share life experiences with.
What’s your number one deal breaker? Drama
What makes you an ideal boyfriend? I will keep you laughing
and keep things interesting. In addition, I take my partner for who
they are. I value other people’s opinions, even if I do not agree
with them. I am laid back and easy going, but won’t let anyone
walk over me. I respect your friendships and alone time. I listen to
your issues, but will not use them against you if we disagree. I can
be your best friend.
If there is anything else you want the readers of HARBOR
STYLE to know about you? Beyond my goofy exterior lies a person who is deeply
introspective, charming and constantly strives to be better. |

Describe yourself in three words: Successful, secure and loving
Favorite song: “What a Wonderful World” by Louie Armstrong
Favorite movie: Gone with the Wind
Favorite book: The Bible
Favorite TV show: The Mentalist
Favorite local hangout: Bin 82
If money were not an issue, what would you be doing right
now? Traveling the world, volunteering more and spending more
time in Kentucky with my family. Also, finding ways to beat cancer
and mental illnesses.
If you were an animal, what animal would you be and why?
I would be a lioness because she is the wife of the “King of the
Jungle,” so that means she must be able to match him in strength
and ability, but also know when to simply be “The Queen.”
Who are your heroes and why? My grandparents, without a
doubt! They were married for 56 years…They were each other’s
best friends until the very end. Their love and loyalty to their family
is magnified though their children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren
every day…They were and are the truest examples of
what love should be, and they never let us forget that family is the
strongest of all bonds, even if we drive each other crazy.
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Owning my
own company, married, maybe a kid or two and, most definitely,
owning a log cabin deep in the mountains of Kentucky.
What do you notice first about someone of the opposite sex? How they carry themselves and how they treat others
What is your idea of a perfect date? I don’t think there is a
“perfect date,” but I do think a date should be something simple, so
it can be more about getting to know each other and not about the
romantic notion of it being a “perfect date.”
What do you look for in a partner? A good work ethic, honesty,
integrity, good communication and good fashion sense
What’s your number one deal breaker? Dishonesty
What makes you an ideal girlfriend? My good nature. I am
caring, loving, loyal, confident and well-balanced.
If there is anything else you want the readers of HARBOR
STYLE to know about you? I am a true southern belle who loves her family, friends, God
and country, and I am forever dedicated to them. I volunteer for Big
Brothers Big Sisters of Charlotte County, Charlotte County Red Cross
and Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County. I am a mom to two
furry little girls, a Yorkie-Poo named Bella and a cat named Sophie.
I love art, antiques, fashion, good music, good food, and good
company, and don’t forget a good laugh!
I have lived in Charlotte County for 21 years but my heart will
ALWAYS be in Kentucky and since I am from Kentucky, I am a diehard
UK Wildcat basketball fan. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!! |

the wildest places, starting in Tahoe, Calif., one of the most beautiful
places I’ve ever been.
If you were an animal, what animal would you be and why? I’d be a dog. The type isn’t important, but hopefully a big, playful
one. I would choose to be a dog because dog is “man’s best
friend” and, in conjunction with that, dogs are extremely loyal. Both
friendship and loyalty are very important to me.
Who are your heroes and why? My parents are my heroes
for teaching me the difference between right and wrong, always
supporting me in whatever I tried and showing me that it is greater
to do things for others than it is to do them for yourself.
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Happily
married, playing with my kids outside and going on family vacations
every year
What do you notice first about someone of the opposite sex? Her smile
What is your idea of a perfect date? A perfect date is defined by
the laughter and conversations shared over an extended moment
that produce that unforgettable smile and twinkle in the eye of that
special someone you’re sharing it with, not by where it happened or
what was accomplished.
What do you look for in a partner? Someone who is outgoing,
competitive and passionate. A person who wants to grow, enjoys
learning, and inspires you to do the same. I look for a person that
likes sports and enjoys working out. Most importantly though, I look
for a person that I can talk to.
What’s your number one deal breaker? Smoking
What makes you an ideal boyfriend? I’m very laid back, not to
mention absolutely horrible at arguing, but great at listening. I love
to try new things and am frequently spontaneous. Being a bit of a
romantic, I like to make sure she knows she is special. |

What do you look for in a partner? The person that I would meet
is who they are through no influence from me. I would expect him to
respect me for the same reasons and not to try change or mold me.
What’s your number one deal breaker? Controlling and clingy men
What makes you an ideal girlfriend? Haven’t you been reading this?
If there is anything else you want the readers of HARBOR

Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Very happy,
maybe with a family, traveling and enjoying life. I’ll also be working
for the same company. I absolutely love my job!!
What do you notice first about someone of the opposite sex?
Their personality. I like intelligent and outgoing people who are easy

be something as simple as a walk on the beach. It truly all depends
on the connection with the other person.
What do you look for in a partner? A man who knows how to
enjoy life and is family-oriented
What’s your number one deal breaker? A selfish person
What makes you an ideal girlfriend? I am a very happy, smart
and kind woman who loves her family and friends and really enjoys

The biggest adventure in my life so far was moving to the US
