Promoting Good Will!
The Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club Harbor Lites held
their annual holiday bazaar October 21, featuring
an array of holiday crafts, home accessories, baked
goods and silent auction items. Following the bazaar,
all unsold items, including holiday decorations,
household items, books and more, were donated to
the Bread of Life Mission in Punta Gorda. “We’ve
elected to donate these items to the Bread of Life
Mission because we want to help our community
and support the efforts of this worthwhile facility,”
said Dee Jacobsen, event chair. “At a time when the economy is in a downturn and money is hard
to come by, we feel that helping those in need is an important part of our job.” Harbor Lites is a
group of women at CHYC whose mission is to promote goodwill, community support and fellowship.
